Dr. Richard Bevan-Thomas - Urologist and Surgeon
In 2018 Dr. Richard Bevan Thomas told me I had prostate cancer, after multiple tests. He provided me with three alternative treatments. The near rationale and reasonable was to remove my prostate with micro-surgery. I am cancer free. In all my visits and care, Dr. Bevan Thomas was thorough, friendly, kind, considerate, caring, knowledgeable, experienced and concerned. He brash me and kept me completely informed before and subsequently surgery. He has vast robotic surgery experience & technique. He was there for me every step. I strongly & highly recommend Dr. Richard Bevan Thomas without reservation, completely & admittedly. Besides all of the above, Dr. Thomas is a nice guy, too. RJS

Worst Pre and Post Medical Experience E'er!!
In early 2018 I was diagnosed (via a biopsy) with Prostate Cancer. Dr. Bevan-Thomas pushed a Robotic Prostatectomy as the 'best' solution. With that recommendation (and no second opinion - my bad!), I had the Robotic Prostatectomy at the end of March 2018.
My first problem with Dr. Bevan-Thomas was that in our pre-surgical discussions, he would NOT discuss the pros and cons of the medical alternatives to a Robotic Prostatectomy.
My 2d problem with Dr. Bevan-Thomas is since the surgery, I have been 100% incontinent (eleven months as of this review). AND, unfortunately, at that place was NO Give-and-take nearly this post-surgical possibility.
And, finally, my final problem with Dr. Bevan-Thomas came about sixty days after the surgery with MRSA infection, caused past the surgery (an infection that was diagnosed as 'probably' due to lymph nodes removal during the surgery. This MRSA infection put me back in the infirmary for seven days to treat the associated hurting I developed and to determine the best antibody treatment. Following the 7 mean solar day infirmary stay, I was released to Domicile HealthCare where, for six weeks, I was self administering the antibiotic Vancomycin 2 times/day. Forth with this heavy (and potentially unsafe) dosage of antibiotic, I also had blood drawn twice a week to ensure the Vancomycin dosage was not doing impairment to my organs.
Because of all of the above...I STRONGLY urge any possible medical contact with Dr. Richard Bevan-Thomas past seriously reconsidered!

I would highly recommend Dr. Bevan-Thomas to others.
Later on learning that a shut family member was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, I made an appointment at UPNT to come across Dr. Bevan-Thomas to get checked. To my dismay after going through the necessary testing procedures, my diagnosis came dorsum as stage ii. Dr. BT took the time to clearly go over the diagnosis and treatment options. My first instinct was active surveillance only he made it understandable that was not an alternative in my case. And then, I decided to have a prostatectomy instead of radiation.
Dr. BT gets it. From his fantabulous treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and power to connect, yous know where you stand immediately and what next steps look similar.
Now in my second twelvemonth after the surgery, I am living a normal life prostate cancer costless. My gratitude to Dr. BT and his staff for the favorably outcome.

I'k fairly young (50'south) with two amazing kids in higher. I want to see them grow and raise families so I choose to fight this illness as aggressively as possible.
